Goal
The goal is to strive to facilitate the availability of computers and infrastructure in schools so that each student has access to computers. And then follow up to ensure proper use by monitoring, evaluating, and providing updated training.
Objective
- To promote computer literacy among the students
- To improve the quality of computer facilities in Burji Woreda/District schools
- To expose students to computer operation and other ICT skills at their elementary, junior secondary and secondary levels.
- To provide a sustainable ICT teaching facility for teachers in schools
- To provide students with good IT infrastructure alongside their normal educational curriculum
- To provide equal access to computer education for all Burji Woreda/District children.
Project
The project is designed to address the above mentioned need and gap through the following activities: –
- Building infrastructure (computer lab) and equipping it with needed items
- Providing teachers with current information on emerging IT education.
